Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

In her senior year after being captain since Junior year, Katie is helping to prepare her team with a new coaching staff after both her coach and assistant coach moved to another program. To ensure a fit, the school asked her and a fellow captain to be part of the interview team, she rallied the girls over the summer to keep them engaged and excited and is now preparing for try outs. Katie has been playing basketball through the town’s recreation league and travel teams. She’s super excited for her senior year as the cumulation of many hours on the court.
