Regarding Warehouses In West Windsor - Neighbors Don"t be Fooled
Take a ride past this warehouse and judge for yourself.
Neighbors, don’t be fooled. Here are views of Windsor 8 Logistics Center (the brand new WW warehouse nearby McCaffrey’s), that the Mayor did not show in a recent flyer. I took the top two photos on October 28th from the road, approaching the site from both directions along Route 571. The third shot, shown in the Marathe - Geevers - Charles mailer claims it is “… being hidden by berms, plantings, and setbacks.”
Learn for yourself about this huge Class A Industrial Development. You can download the Brookfield Properties brochure from www.windsor8LC.com. It boasts of 57 dock doors, 73 stalls for trailer parking, 173 spaces for car parking (with another 73 car park spaces banked for future expansion). In my opinion this eyesore is not just an insult aesthetically, but a quality of life issue.
I would suggest that the number of cars and tractor trailers that will be coming and going daily pose a health and safety issue for residents from increased traffic and diesel fuel emissions, and that damage to roads would also result. Note as well that this location is only 7-8 miles from the planned colossal Bridgepoint 8 warehouses, also in West Windsor.

Let's not go down this road again. Please vote for the team that has wiser ideas for planned growth in the future - West Windsor Together - Sujit Singh for Mayor, Ajay Tomar and Andrew Winters for Council.
Respectfully, Deborah Margulies
