Revolution West Windsor
West Windsor celebrates the nation's 250th with 20 months of community events!
Next year will be 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, one of the founding documents of our nation. States, counties, and towns across the country will host innumerable commemorations of this occasion. And West Windsor is no exception. Look forward to 20 MONTHS OF REVOLUTION-RELATED COMMUNITY PROGRAMS!
Did you know that more battles and skirmishes were fought in New Jersey than any other state? And, what about our town’s unique role in the Revolution – from soldiers to a Declaration signer to captured troops, George Washington marching through town, and more? There's much rich history, if you know where to look!
The Historical Society has convened a township-wide committee to celebrate the 250th. This group, “Revolution West Windsor,” includes West Windsor Township itself, West Windsor Arts, the West Windsor Lions Club, West Windsor Volunteer Fire Co., Princeton Junction Volunteer Fire Co., West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance, and West Windsor Community Farmers' Market. We’ve organized a calendar of 50+ events between NOW and December 2026. Think parades, lectures, art shows, dances, picnics, reenactors, and more!

We’re kicking off Revolution West Windsor with a LOGO CONTEST, starting TODAY! All past & current residents are invited to help us depict our town’s role in the Revolution through this logo, to be featured on websites, merchandise, promotional material, and more throughout 2025 and 2026. The contest runs until June 1; the winner will be announced at the Town Picnic (June 14). There are also material prizes for the winner and runner-up.
