Woman Found Dead Along Route 1 Mercer County On Christmas Day
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was found lying dead on the shoulder of US Route 1 North on Christmas Day.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - The body of a woman believed to be in her 40s was found on Route 1 on Christmas day, West Windsor Police said.
On Dec. 25, at 5:23 pm, patrol units responded to an unoccupied former car dealership on Route 1 North on reports of a possible dead person.
On arrival, officers found an unknown woman, believed to be in her 40s lying dead on the shoulder of US Route 1 North. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death remains under investigation. The woman's identity was not released, pending notification to kin and the ongoing investigation.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force and West Windsor police are jointly investigating.
