DEPTFORD, NJ — Eagles fans of South Jersey, meet your new breakout running back. D'Andre Swift — a Philadelphia native and the NFL's second-leading rusher — will sign autographs later this month at Deptford Mall.

The public-signing event, featuring photo opportunities, runs from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 24, marking Swift's first public appearance as an Eagle, according to event organizers. Starting prices for tickets range from $69-89. Visit Overtime Promotions for tickets.

Swift, 24, has been instrumental to the Eagles' undefeated start. In four games, the tailback has rushed for 364 yards — second in the NFL to the Niners' Christian McCaffrey — and two touchdowns.

Last offseason's trade from the Lions to the Birds marked a homecoming for Swift, who was born in Philadelphia and attended St. Joseph's Preparatory School in the city.

After three years in the Georgia Bulldogs backfield, the Lions selected Swift in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In three seasons with Detroit, the tailback rushed for 1,680 yards off 364 carries, while also making 156 catches for 1,198 yards.

With Swift entering the final year of his contract, the Eagles traded for him on the final day of the draft last April. The Lions sent Swift and a seventh-round pick (Moro Ojomo, selected 249th overall) to the Birds for a seventh-rounder (Antoine Green, 219th) and a 2025 fourth-round pick.

Deptford Mall has hosted several events featuring Philly pro athletes in recent months. That includes Sept. 2, when the Eagles' Brandon Graham and Reed Blankenship attended the mall's Family Football Fest.

See the Facebook event page for Swift's visit.

The Eagles (4-0) will next visit the Rams (2-2) at 4:05 p.m. Sunday.
