Football Signups, Jewelry-Making: the Week Ahead in West Deptford
Plus: the final meeting on the 2013 public budget.

If your little one is going to strap the pads on this season, sign-ups for West Deptford Midget Football happen from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 22 at the Riverwinds football snack stand. Payment is also accepted online; registration fee starts at $155.00; fundraising required.Â
Then at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, RiverWinds pass holders can go on a free, age-based scavenger hunt "for special pool pebbles and other surprises. Swim suit required.
There's also a 7 p.m. jewelry-making class at the West Deptford Free Public Library for middle school or high school student. Teens will learn how to make earrings, bracelets or anklets to wear or give as gifts. Registration requested.
Adults who want to tackle the same arts and crafts can attend a 7 p.m. jewelry-making class at RiverWinds Tuesday night. It will be taught by resident artist Fran DiCarlantonio; $36 for non-members, $30 for members.
Thursday, July 25Â brings with it the final hearing on the 2013 West Deptford municipal budget. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the West Deptford Municipal Building.
Saturday, July 27, you can get your car looking good for the weekend at the WDHS football team car wash, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Deptford Municipal Building. Buy a ticket for just $5.
And make sure you don't overlook the Thorofare Fire Co. hoagie sale from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
