191-Acre South Jersey Wildfire Now Fully Contained
Firefighters in Gloucester County knocked down a 191-acre wildfire that began Wednesday.

FRANKLIN TWP, NJ — A 191-acre wildfire in Gloucester County has been fully contained, officials said Thursday. The fire was burning in the area of Pennsylvania Ave and Proposed Ave in Franklin Township, Gloucester County.
In the earlier stages of the fire, officials reported it posed a threat to about 60 buildings, however no structures were evacuated during the emergency response. Additionally, no road closures were reported.
The fire, first reported Wednesday evening, was named by the "Scotland Run Wildfire."

The Forest Fire Service said it reported to the scene with fire engines, bulldozers and ground crews.
The cause of the fire, which was initially spotted from the Blue Anchor Fire Tower at 3:34 p.m. on Wednesday, has not been released.
