New Super Wawa Opens Near Deptford Mall

DEPTFORD, NJ — Another Super Wawa has opened its doors in South Jersey. Wawa opened its new store at 1465 Clements Bridge Road in Deptford this week, according to an online statement from the popular chain. It is located down the street from the Deptford Mall.

Like many new Wawa stores, the new market includes gas pumps.

It is the second Wawa now open in Deptford. The other is at 1536 Hurffville Road. There is also a Wawa at 496 Crown Point Road in West Deptford.

Wawa is still planning to add 10 more stores to its roster that already includes 266 locations in New Jersey, according to nj.com. To view the list of Wawa stores coming soon, visit wawa.com.

The first Wawa store opened in Folsom, Pennsylvania, in 1964, and has now grown to more than 800 locations. It is most popular for its hoagies and coffee, but also offers dinner food like cheeseburgers and french fries, and popular sides for kids, like macaroni and cheese. In some cases, they even offer drive-thru services.
