GLASSBORO, NJ — A person was shot during an unsanctioned gathering Sunday night that drew large crowds to Glassboro, police said.

Hundreds of people flocked to Rowan Boulevard for a "pop-up party" — a large, unsanctioned gathering typically promoted on social media with little notice.

A male victim was shot in the leg during the event, according to Glassboro police. He was brought to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
