NJ Wawa Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, Manhunt Underway: Police

A 23-year-old Cumberland County was fatally shot while leaving a South Jersey Wawa late Thursday night, authorities said.

VINELAND, NJ — A 23-year-old Vineland man was killed in a late-night shooting outside a Wawa in the city on Thursday, the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday morning.

Luis Rivera was shot while leaving the convenience store at Park Avenue and Delsea Drive in what police said does not appear to be a random shooting.

However, no further information was released about the shooting, which took place around 2 a.m., according to 6 ABC.
