Train, Car Collide On Highway In South Jersey
The roadway will remain closed as officials investigate the scene.
CARNEYS POINT, NJ — A train and a car collided Tuesday morning in Salem County, closing a portion of Route 130.
It happened around the 300 block of Route 130 — locally known as North Virginia Avenue — in Carneys Point, officials said at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
There's a railroad crossing for freight trains in that area of the highway.

North Virginia Avenue will be closed until the investigation is completed, police said. There's a detour through North Broad Street.
