The deceased driver's dash cam footage shows the other driver causing the crash, fleeing the scene and laughing, according to nj.com.
WOOLWICH, NJ — A truck driver was caught on video laughing after purposely hitting another tractor-trailer in a crash that turned fatal last month on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to nj.com.
The driver, Joseph M. Nyandwaro, then fled the scene of the June 22 crash in Gloucester County, the news outlet reports. It's under investigation as a possible road-rage incident, nj.com said.
Nyandwaro, 41, of Pearland, Texas, was charged Tuesday with reckless death by auto (second-degree), knowingly leaving the scene of a fatal crash (second-degree) and tampering with evidence (fourth-degree). He was jailed that day.

State Police obtained dashboard camera footage from Aden's vehicle that showed a white tractor-trailer with Illinois registration causing the crash and driving off, nj.com said.
"Nyandwaro was observed intentionally crashing into the victim's tractor trailer, ramming him into the left concrete barrier, and laughing about it as he drove away," an affidavit says, according to nj.com.
Police later found Nyandwaro's truck, which had paint from Aden's vehicle on it and damage consistent with the crash, nj.com said.
Nyandwaro applied duct tape to his truck and used a cleaning solution to remove evidence, according to nj.com.
Patch contacted State Police with questions and will update as more information becomes available.
Nyandwaro remains jailed at the Salem County Correctional Facility as of Thursday, according to inmate records. The facility provides jailing services for Gloucester County.
Online court records didn't list an attorney for Nyandwaro on Thursday.
