This October marks the 10 year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy. How was the Westfield community impacted? Share your memories with Patch:

WESTFIELD, NJ — Longtime Westfield residents surely cannot forget the devastating impact that Superstorm Sandy had on the community ten years ago.

The deadly hurricane that swept through coastal areas of New Jersey and New York left many without power and severe damage to their homes and businesses.

In an effort to compile photos and stories for the 10 year anniversary, Patch is asking Westfield readers to submit photos and memories. These memories can be recollection of surviving without power, the long lines at gas stations, a heroic rescue, the cancellation of Halloween, a remembrance of someone lost or how a business was impacted at the time of the storm.
