Mayor Brindle To Be Sworn In At Westfield Reorganization Meeting

Westfield will hold a reorganization meeting on Jan. 4 and have a swearing-in ceremony for Mayor Brindle who was re-elected in November.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield's Town Council will hold a reorganization meeting at the start of the new year, and Mayor Shelley Brindle will be sworn in for a second four-year term.

Town Clerk Tara Rowley announced Tuesday that the reorganization meeting will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in Westfield Town Hall.

Brindle will also be sworn in for her second term at 5:30 — an hour before the reorganization meeting — during a swearing-in ceremony.

In November's General Election, Brindle and her four council running mates — Linda Habgood, Mike Dardia, David Contract and Dawn Mackey — were all re-elected to Westfield's town council.

The entirety of the reorganization meeting will be streamed on Facebook Live, and all members of the public can watch the meeting through this livestream. Anyone watching the livestream can provide comments during the Public Comment period of the meeting by calling 908-789-4060.
