'Me & My Gal' Dance To Be Held In Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield's Recreation Department is hosting a "Me & My Gal Dance," formerly the Daddy Daughter Dance, this March.

This the 21st year that the dance is being held. It was put on hold the last two years because of the pandemic.

Registration for the March 12 event opens on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. The event will be capped at 550 participants, which includes children and their chaperones.

The dance is open to young ladies in grades 1 through 5 and has sold out in years past.

The registration fee is $75 per person. The event will be held at the Westwood in Garwood and will include dinner, a DJ, dancing, photo portraits and other activities.
