Rain Cancels Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival In Westfield

Due to Tuesday's forecast and the uncertainty of Tropical Storm Debby, Sweet Sounds is canceled this week.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival in Westfield has been canceled this week due to Tuesday's forecast and the uncertainty of Tropical Storm Debby.

The rain date on Wednesday is also canceled.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding," wrote Westfield NJ - Downtown on Tuesday.

The Festival is held every Tuesday night from July 9 through Aug. 27 with rain dates on Wednesdays.

Sweet Sounds will return next week on Aug. 13 with Radam Schwartz, Rusty Monks, and Higher Ground performing
