Upcoming Movie Transforms Westfield Police Station For Film Shoot
Westfield was chosen for this scene not only for the front of its Police Department but also for the beauty of Mindowaskin Park.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield welcomed a bit of Hollywood on Wednesday as the police department was transformed for an upcoming movie, the town announced.
The Police Department was transformed into the Lake Hill, NY Police Department for a film shoot. The scene included the transformation of patrol cars, police uniforms, a department seal, and the New York State flag flying on site.
"While the production crew has asked us not to disclose the name of the film before it's released, the Town was thrilled to be included in this major motion picture that features several Academy Award winners," according to Town of Westfield, New Jersey. "The crew noted that, after scouting many locations in New Jersey, they chose Westfield for this scene not only for the front of our Police Department, but also for the beauty of Mindowaskin Park."
