Westfield Area Y Offers Fall Programs For All Ages
The Fall 1 Session runs from September 8 - October 31.

The Westfield Area Y’s fall session program registration begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 13 for Gold and Silver members and at 7:30 am, Monday, August 17 for Program and Non-Members. The Fall 1 Session runs from September 8 - October 31.
New classes for adults this fall include: Cycle & Strength and Aqua Running.

Youth and teens can enjoy new classes this fall such Fit Sports, Flag Football, Future Flyers, Tennis and Speech and Debate Club.
Special Population offerings this session include: Delay the Disease: Exercise to Fight Parkinson’s Symptoms; Arthritis Exercise Program; Aquatics for People with Disabilities; Project Healthy Bones; Special Population Personal Training; and the Dragonfly program for young adults ages 18-26 with special/adaptive needs.

Active Adults can come together at Lunchtime Lectures, join the Literature Club, play bridge and even take a trip to the Botanical Gardens on October 8th.
Parents and caregivers can come together in a parent/child class such as Music Time or Yoga Buddies while the entire family can enjoy the FREE Family Movie Night and featuring “Paddington” at the Garwood Family Center Y field on September 18th.
The Y continues to offer swim lessons for all ages and levels as well as competitive swim teams.
There is a wide selection of childcare education options available to accommodate the needs of busy parents. With programs in Westfield, Mountainside, Garwood, and Cranford, the Y is convenient and flexible.
The Westfield Area Y also offers a wide variety of youth sports and fitness programs ranging from dance, Pillo Polo, climbing and Basketball leagues to Tae Kwon Do, t-ball and fencing. Participants in the Y’s Flyers Cross Country Track Club learn proper distance running technique and build cardiovascular endurance in developmental or competitive groups with USATF-certified coaches.
