Westfield High School Newspaper Wins National Award
Hi's Eye is one of three newspapers in the country to ever receive the honor.

Westfield High School’s Hi’s Eye received the Pacemaker Award from the National School Press Association.
The Pacemaker award is judged and given based on the content and coverage of the paper, the quality of writing and reporting, leadership on the opinion page, in-depth reporting, design, photography, art and graphics. The National School Press Association launched the award in 1927.
Other winners of this award were from Ohio and California.
Westfield’s Hi’s Eye was selected from over 350 submissions for The Pacemaker award. The paper has been a part of Westfield High School since 1935.
