Westfield High School Presenting Fourth Annual Jazz Night
The fourth annual jazz night will have the theme "Jazz Under the Stars."
The Westfield High School Bands, in cooperation with Edison Intermediate School and Roosevelt Intermediate School, presents its fourth annual Jazz Night next week.
The event, presented with the theme of “Jazz Under the Stars”, will take place on Friday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m at Westfield High School, 550 Dorian Road. The event is open to the community and includes performances from six bands, including the Jazz Ensemble and Stage Band from Westfield High School and the Edison and Roosevelt Jazz Bands.
According to officials from Westfield Public Schools, the event program will feature productions by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Carter and Glenn Miller. Additionally, the bands will perform more recent productions from acts including Norah Jones and Chicago.
