Westfield Library Brings Best-Selling Authors Directly to Residents

The Westfield Library has launched a new virtual author talk series featuring bestselling, award-winning authors. You can watch online.

The Westfield Memorial Library is pleased to announce the launch of a new virtual author talk series featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world. The featured writers and thought leaders will cover a wide range of fiction and nonfiction genres.

“Hearing an author speak about a book that they poured their heart and soul into is such a thrill,” says Allen McGinley, Library Director. “But there are many obstacles to in-person author talks including cost, travel, author availability, scheduling conflicts, and more.”

“So I’m delighted that we have found a cost-effective way to bring best-selling and award-winning authors to Westfield residents on a regular basis through this new virtual platform.”
