Westfield Memorial Library Hosting Workshop for National Poetry Month
The library will be hosting a workshop featuring poet Richard Morgan for National Poetry Month.

The Westfield Memorial Library will be hosting a workshop for National Poetry Month during the month of April.
In celebration of the month, the library is hosting the workshop where participants can learn how to create, edit and publish poems with poet Richard Morgan. Morgan will provide tips and guidelines from the writing state to publishing, particularly self-publishing, according to the Westfield Memorial Library.
Morgan, a native of Newburgh, New York, has been writing poetry for 50 years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in science from SUNY Albany and spent 40 years in education, as both a teacher and administrator.

According to the library, Richard Morgan and his wife, Pat Morgan, have published three books, ‘I am Sea Glass--a collection of poetic pieces,’ ‘Sea Glass People--portraits in words and watercolors,’ and ‘Sea Glass Soul--invisible colors.’ Richard Morgan recently wrote, ‘Hebrew Lessons--poems from my Jewish heart.’ Additionally, he is a regular contributor to ‘Echoes of LBI Magazine’ and has been published in ‘The Sandpiper (L.B.I.)‘ and ‘The Ocean County Jewish Federation Journal.’
