Westfield Players To Debut ‘12 Angry Jurors’ Later This Week
The thespian group will present the story of 12 people considering the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murder later in March.
WESTFIELD, NJ - Westfield Community Players are back for the 2023 season with 12 Angry Jurors, a stage dramatization of the 1957 film “12 Angry Men.”
Performances are set to begin on March 11, with weekend evening and matinee shows scheduled through March 25 at the Westfield Community Players theater (1000 North Ave. West).
“Westfield Community Players proudly presents 12 Angry Jurors—a play that contemplates the huge responsibility of 12 ordinary people as they consider the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murder,” the theater group said in a news release announcing the production. “The 12 jurors bring their own histories, prejudices, and biases to the jury room as they work through this life-or-death decision.”
