Westfield's "AddamsFest": A Guide For 2025

This year's theme is "Femme Fatale," a nod to the Morticia character.

(City of Westfield)

WESTFIELD, NJ — The full lineup of October fun for the eighth consecutive "AddamsFest" downtown festival was released this week.

The annual honor to Westfield's own Charles Addams, the prominent cartoonist and creator of The Addams Family, is taking on a Femme Fatale theme for its town-wide takeover throughout the month. Many of the events this year are a tribute to the character of Morticia Addams, known for spreading allure, mystery, and beauty with her presence.

While much of the fun begins during the first week of October, residents can now register for the "Haunt Your House Contest" for either a day or night display. Guests at AddamsFest will tour different routes using an online map to vote on their favorite decorated houses from Oct. 12 through Oct. 30. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival.
