As of Wednesday afternoon, Westfield Public Schools have yet to report on school closings or delayed openings. Check back on Westfield Patch for updates and information on the storm and school closings.

The storm comes after a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain soaked the region on Sunday morning, and much of that rain and wetness froze on New Jersey roads on Monday.

The Outerbridge Crossing, the Bayonne Bridge and the Goethals Bridge connecting Staten Island and New Jersey, and the Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross bridges connecting Pennsylvania and New Jersey were all closed Sunday morning because of ice.
