Wilson Elementary School Donates $2K To Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad
The donation was part of the school's Coin Wars fundraiser for this year.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Wilson Elementary School raised more than $2,000 to donate to the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad as part of this year’s Coin Wars fundraiser.
The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad were honored to be chosen as this year's recipient and said it was "an amazing show of generosity and community spirit!"
The fourth graders raised the most out of all the grades and earned a special visit from Squad President Callie Campbell and EMTs Jackie Maceira and Krish Raval, who surprised them at school Monday.

"Thank you to all the students, families, and staff for your incredible support!" said the squad.
The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad has provided free emergency medical services to Westfield since Oct. 1, 1951. They are an all-volunteer organization and are available 24/7/365. They are supported completely by the townspeople’s tax-deductible donations.
