Peace4paws Holding Musical Fundraiser in Westwood
The "Puccini and Pasta" event in Westwood will support former research animals.

Peace4paws will present an evening of “Puccini and Pasta” at Grace Episcopal Church in Westwood April 26 at 7 p.m.
The funds raised from Peace4paws’ fifth annual musical benefit event weekend will go to benefit a variety of sanctuaries that rehabilitate and find homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields.
Peace4paws’ “Puccini and Pasta” event offers a full program of live operatic music by Palisades Opera and guests, great food and desserts, raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing and a special meet and greet with Mike Stabler of the Kindness Ranch. Guests will be treated to three course meal donated by local restaurants, including Crecco’s, Pompilio's, It’s Greek to Me, Your Way Café and Bakery, Esti’s Café and Bakery, and the Westwood Diner and Pancake House, as well as additional specialties prepared on site by Westwood caterer Vicky Charron.

The beneficiary list includes the Kindness Ranch of Hartville, Wyoming; Mylestone Equine Rescue; The Beagle Freedom Project of Valley Village, California and the Jungle Friends of Gainesville, Florida. Major sponsors of the event include Lewis Drugs, Westwood Pets, Open Doors, Doggie Deuce, LUSH, Peter Rabcevics Multimedia and Puddy and the Beagle Boys.
Admission for the event is $30 for adults, $25 for students and seniors and $15 for children under 10 years of age. Tickets may be purchased at www.peace4paws.org on the “donate” page via PayPal or may be reserved by calling Sara at (203) 915-2478. Tickets may also be purchased in person at Westwood Pets, Watch Out Jewelers or Lewis Drugs of Westwood.
