United Water Lawsuit, Deadline For Assemblyman This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township

The Washington Township Council is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Complex Monday. At their last meeting, the council voted to reject four bids they received for an emergency generator and go out to bid a second time in hopes of finding a better deal. The township has been renting a generator since their old one spewed gas into the Police Department.

Tuesday, United Water and Hillsdale representatives are scheduled to meet with a judge to discuss the lawsuit the utility filed seeking to void two borough ordinances passed last year. The Hillsdale Council also has a meeting that night at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building.

Westwood Regional High School's Woodington Players will present Little Shop of Horrors Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
