Wendy Ruggiero Shopping Fundraiser Thursday

Ginger N' Cream will host a shopping event to raise money for the family of Wendy Ruggiero Thursday.

Ruggiero is a local mom of three who became paralyzed after an accident last summer. Her 4-year-old daughter has fought Neuroblastoma, a type of cancer, and OMS, a neurological disorder, since she was 18 months-old.

The event will take place at both Ginger N' Cream and Ginger Kids, located at 350 and 351 Center Avenue in Westwood, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Wendy Ruggiero & Family Assistance Fund.
