Some of Woodbridge's youngest residents were met with new faces on the playground Wednesday.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Some of Woodbridge’s finest and some of Woodbridge’s youngest joined forces on the recess field at a local elementary school Wednesday afternoon.

The Woodbridge Police Department met with students for fun and games at Oak Ridge Heights School 21 in Colonia on Wednesday, according to a Facebook post from the police department. From photos taken on the baseball field, officers could be seen kicking a soccer ball with a swath of young students.

“Recess at School 21 was met with some new faces today,” the photo caption reads. “Thank you for allowing us to play!”
