School System Rankings: NJ Schools Top the List
New Jersey's public schools are safe, high scoring, and lead to long academic careers.

A study by Wallethub.com ranks New Jersey the top state for school system quality. The study inspected student-teacher ratios, dropout rates, test scores, and bullying incident rates.
New Jersey won because its students are the fourth safest in the nation, and because our public schools have the highest number of graduates with postsecondary degrees (about 30 scientists per square mile, according to Politifact.com).
New Jersey also had the fourth highest math test scores and the fifth highest reading test scores. The students probably achieved them because of their lowest pupil to teacher ratio, in which New Jersey was ranked fourth.
