Woodbridge Earth Day Celebration Is This Saturday

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge Township will host its annual Earth/Arbor Day celebration at the Acacia Youth Center this Saturday, April 20.

The celebration will feature the annual Arbor Day tree-planting ceremony and give-away of FREE tree seedlings, along with “green” items and products.

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Acacia Youth Center, 95 Port Reading Avenue Woodbridge, NJ 07095

• An array of activities such as “green” displays by environmental companies and local businesses
• Rain barrel and compost bin giveaways
• A tour of the Woodbridge River Restoration area
• Information on the importance of recycling — introducing Recycle Rosy — and energy-saving information
