Bail Stands High for Driver in Farmer's Market Crash
Passaic County prosecutors deny requests for lower bail.

Bail will not be lowered for the pick-up truck driver who crashed through the barricade at the Hawthorne Farmer’s Market.
James Woetzel faces charges of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in death.
Woetzel’s attorney, Russel Bickert, asserted that the driver was not intoxicated, and that his blood sugar was three times higher than normal. Prosecutors are now waiting for blood work to confirm or negate this assertion.
