Café In Wyckoff Has Closed, But Owners Plan To Open New Restaurant Soon

A new restaurant is coming soon to Wyckoff, replacing another that closed at the start of summer.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Café Amici in Wyckoff closed in June, but the owners have something new in store.

They plan to open a new restaurant concept, Wyckoff Tavern, in the same space. This week, they announced that they're hiring.

At the start of summer, they wrote, "We at Café Amici would like to thank each and every one of you who have supported us over the past 23 years. Through floods, hurricanes, COVID, power outages, long waits for tables, stifling heat, and freezing cold."

They added, "This transformation will be a positive one for all of us. We will be creating a fresh look, a full bar, and a patio that we finally got approvals for. The Wyckoff Tavern will be born amidst its long running predecessor."

'Keep The Chicken Scarpiello...'

They officially closed for renovations on June 30.

But they wrote, "We are going to keep the staple items in place and the same recipes, along with some variations. But we will never steer away from our priority: to have the freshest food and best service for our guests."

A fan wrote on social media, "I hope u keep the chicken scarpiello, salmon, and fish dishes in your menu. Good luck and excited to see your new establishment."

They said last Friday that they're hiring for servers, barbacks, and bussers.

They're located at 315 Franklin Ave.
