Patch.com will host a advertising sales open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Side Bar in Morristown.
Patch currently operates more than 120 local community news and information sites and is rapidly expanding to hundreds of markets and towns across the country!
Patch seeks Web-savvy Advertising Managers and Regional Publishers who will be working closely with local advertisers—from mom-and-pops to large regional clients—as their local online advertising expert.

Interested applicants should have:
- Top-notch sales and marketing instincts.
- The willingness to act as a media consultant and the ability to close/ask for the sale.
- A deep understanding of online and local ad markets, trends, metrics, etc.
- The ability to publicly represent Patch as the future of local news and information.
- A bachelor's degree and sales experience in the digital advertising space.
Successful applicants also will be responsible for advertising sales to businesses in local markets, selling advertising inventory to include: banner ads, e-newsletters, video and more. They also will present promotional opportunities and display options to store owners/management while identifying and pursuing opportunities to increase sales of current and new offerings.

Successful candidates may even decide to host a local seminar on how to achieve the best results by advertising on the web. They will attend chamber and trade functions, get involved in community groups, head up charitable efforts and maintain a highly visible presence in the business community.
