Fall Harvest Festival In Bergen County Will Run Friday Night Only

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Because of the predicted tropical storm, the Fall Harvest Festival in Bergen County has been canceled for Saturday and Sunday. It will still be held Friday night.

Organizers wrote: "Based on the latest weather information provided by the County Office of Emergency Management, the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Bergen County has made the difficult decision to cancel all Harvest Festival festivities on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24. There is no rain date for this event. The safety of fairgoers, vendors, staff and volunteers is always the Cooperative’s first priority.

"Please not that the carnival attraction at Overpeck County Park will still be open this evening Friday, September 22 from 6-9 pm."

As of now, it will take place at Overpeck County Park (199 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park). Parking and admission are free.

The Bergen County Office of Food Security will be accepting donations at the festival, so attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
