To help the process run smoothly, the town advises residents to:

  • Place leaves along the edge of your property (but not in the street) and spread them out across the entire front of your property
  • Be prepared! Place leaves on the curb as soon as possible
  • Be sure that your leaves are free of branches or twigs, which clog vacuum hoses and cause damage to equipment. If branches are present, your leaves will not be picked up
  • Keep leaves at least 10 feet away from storm drains
  • Do not park vehicles in the street during leaf collection

Residents are reminded that leaves can also be brought to the recycling center.
