Franklin Lakes' Chabad Jewish Center Holds Passover Seder April 3
The Seder will feature a four course catered dinner with imported kosher wines and handmade, hearth baked 'Shmurah' Matza from Brooklyn.

Chabad of NWBC - Franklin Lakes will host its 15th annual community Passover Seder on Friday, April 3, the first night of Passover, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chabad Jewish Center, located at 375 Pulis Avenue in Franklin Lakes.
The Seder will feature a “delectable four course catered dinner with imported kosher wines and handmade, hearth baked ‘Shmurah’ Matza from Brooklyn,” according to the Chabad Jewish Center.
“Passover is not simply a celebration of the historic liberation of an ancient people,” said Rabbi Chanoch Kaplan, Director Chabad of NWBC, “[But] is about our own personal liberation – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Passover’s perpetual message of deliverance resonates with added meaning as many struggle to find balance in their lives.”

The Seder is open to the entire community but seats are limited, with tickets costing $45 for adults and $25 for children age 12 and under. Seder sponsors of $360 are also welcome. Space is limited and reservations are on a first come first serve basis.
“Few Jewish traditions evoke the same sentiment as the Passover Seder,” the Chabad Jewish Center said. “The family dinner, traditional foods and the retelling of the Biblical story of the Exodus from Egypt combine to create an inimitable atmosphere with warm memories that account for Passover’s popularity on the Jewish Holiday list.”
