Franklin Lakes Starting Pre-K, Kindergarten Registration
New kindergarteners must have proof of residency and age to enroll.

This school year may only be about halfway over, but Franklin Lakes schools are already prepping for new students to enter the district this fall. The borough recently released information about sign-ups for pre-K and Kindergarten classes, which kick off this week and continue in February.
PreK Registration
According to a release from the borough, the Bright Horizons Early Learning Center, a general education preschool program for three and four year olds who reside in Franklin Lakes and/or in the FLOW District, is holding information sessions this week. Dates for the sessions are January 15 at 4 p.m. or January 23 at 7 p.m. at the High Mountain Road School.
Attendees will meet teachers, see the Pre-K classrooms, and learn about the two programs available to residents turning three or four by Oct. 1.
Kindergarten Registration
The Franklin Lakes School District will be holding Kindergarten Registration for the 2014-15 school year during the week of February 3-7 at its three elementary schools: Colonial Road School, High Mountain Road School, and Woodside Avenue School.
An original birth certificate for all incoming Kindergartners, as well as proof of residency are required for registration. Students registering for Kindergarten must have been born on or before Oct. 1, 2009.
