New 'Ultra-Luxurious' Rentals In Franklin Lakes Offer BBQs, Dog Wash

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — A new luxury rental building has officially opened in Franklin Lakes.

Hailed for its "spacious layouts and upscale amenities," The Franklin — located at 8 Tice Road — has opened to the community, a marketing release said.

“We’d like to thank Mayor (Charles) Kahwaty for helping us officially open The Franklin, a high-end residential building that’s reflective of the character of Franklin Lakes,” the developer's CEO Sonny Adoni said.

Kahwaty joined principals from Adoni Property Group to cut the ribbon (on April 18) celebrating the opening of the "ultra-luxurious" 52-home building, which — marketers said — delivers "sophisticated living in a sought-after suburban setting."

Homes at The Franklin are outfitted with designer appointments and features, including nine-foot ceiling heights, plank flooring, chef-inspired kitchens, full-sized stainless steel appliances, and two-tone soft-close cabinetry, the release said.

"The building has drawn many borough residents who appreciate the opportunity to enjoy an upscale lifestyle experience while remaining a part of the community they love," the Adoni CEO said.

"We’ve also welcomed many newcomers to Franklin Lakes," he added. "The dynamic mix of residents has created a vibrant residential destination that’s become an asset to the neighborhood.”

The Franklin debuted in the borough in August, with 44 move-in-ready (market-rate) units and rent starting at about $3,300; the other eight units are affordable housing, according to a report and an apartment spokesperson.

Complementing the apartments, the marketing team said in the release, is a full suite of "resort-inspired" amenities, including an outdoor patio with fire pits and gas BB!, a fitness center, lounge/event space, movie theatre, golf and multi-sport simulator, a private office and workspaces, and even a dog wash.
