Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Garfield Hit-And-Run: Police
Police are looking for a light-colored Kia Forte with possible damage to the windshield and hood, police said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Police are looking for a vehicle in connection with a Garfield hit-and-run Thursday.
Garfield police got a report of a pedestrian who was hit on River Drive at about 9:30 a.m. just south of Belmont Avenue, said Lt. Richard Uram. The victim was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital where he was in stable condition Monday afternoon, Uram said.
Evidence indicated that the vehicle that hit the man was a light-colored, four-door, 2016 to 2018 Kia Forte, Uram said. The vehicle went south on River Drive. It's windshield and hood are possibly damaged, he said.
