Road Work Alert Issued For Wyckoff Drivers: NJ Assemblyman

Replacement of a culvert on Route 208 in Wyckoff may affect travel for those who live in and commute in District 40, the alert said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Motorists in the 40th Legislative District were just issued a travel alert.

The left shoulder on the north- and southbound lanes of Route 208 in Wyckoff will be closed starting June 2, as crews work to replace the highway culvert, according to New Jersey Assemblyman Kevin Rooney.

The shoulder will be closed with a construction barrier curb on both sides of the road, as the $3.9 million federally funded project advances, the lawmaker and a report said.

It is unclear how long the shoulder will remain closed.

The right shoulder on the north side was closed earlier this month on a stretch of the highway to allow work to continue, Patch reported.
