WYCKOFF, NJ — A 400,000-square-foot senior living community in Wyckoff was just honored with a project design award by a national trade association, according to a recent announcement.

The Vista on Sicomac Avenue received the Argentum Senior Living by Design Award, all shared by the the architect, interior designer and the provider — Christian Health, of Wyckoff.

"The Vista creates a sense of arrival naturally. The long-winding entrance to the independent living complex inspires a first impression of serenity with views of hills and trees in a quiet, yet suburban neighborhood of northern New Jersey," the senior living association said in the 2022 Design Report announcing the winners.

The Argentum award, given out annually, recognized the work of LAN Associates, the Midland Park architecture firm, and its collaborators, which include architects, surveyors, land use professionals, construction administrators and engineers — "and that is just the LAN team," firm President Ken Karle said.

“The Vista was an enormous and multifaceted design and construction undertaking,” Karle said of the 78-acre campus. "This was truly a team effort, and we thank everyone involved.”
