Teen Charged With Possession Of Gun, Resisting Arrest: Paramus Police
A 17-year-old boy was taken to Bergen County Juvenile Detention Center after being arrested on Monday, Paramus police said.
PARAMUS, NJ — A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of a handgun and resisting arrest in Paramus on Monday, the Paramus Police Department said.
Police arrested the boy, a Newark resident who was not identified, police said.
The boy was in custody in the Bergen County Juvenile Detention center.

He was with two other 17-year-old boys in a heavily tinted car on Paramus Road, Paramus police Officer Michael Mordaga said. The two other boys were released without charge, he said.
Mordaga said he saw a handgun in the boy's waistband and chased him when the boy ran.

Police found ammunition magazines for another handgun in the car, police said.
