The film "The Kill Room," directed by a NJ woman and partly shot in Bergen County, now has a release date.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — "The Kill Room," which was partly shot at a restaurant in Lyndhurst, has been picked up for a distributor after a bidding war at the Cannes Film Festival and will be released this coming fall, Variety reported exclusively on Thursday.
The film will be released by indie film company Shout Factory.
The movie was directed by Lyndhurst native Nicol Paone, who has served as a writer, producer, and director on various other films.

The film has been described as both a thriller and a comedy: "A hit man, his boss, an art dealer and a money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight avant-garde sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld."
The crew was spotted filming at Angelo's Ristorante in Lyndhurst in early May 2022. See director Nicol Paone's social media post about it here.
