Wyckoff Closings, Cancellations During 'Historic' Snowstorm

According to the National Weather Service, Wyckoff could see anywhere between 14 and 24 inches of snow blanket the area between Monday and Wednesday.

With that comes school and business closings, road detours, power outages and so on.

Use this post as your one-stop-shop for all that information, which will be constantly updated throughout the duration of the storm.   • All Wyckoff Public Schools are closed tomorrow, Jan. 27.
  • The Wyckoff Family YMCA’s annual meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Jan.28, has been postponed until Feb. 4 at 8 a.m. RSVP with Kris Pepper at krisp@wyckoffymca.org

Tuesday, 8:55 a.m.

  • Axis Insurance Services of Franklin Lakes will close their office Tuesday, but will remain open via telephone and email to “adequately service our insurers located in almost every state.” For more information, contact Mike Smith at 201-847-9175 ext 105 or msmith@axisins.com.

Tuesday, 12:39 p.m.

  • Garbage collection remains canceled for Tuesday. Garbage will be collected Thursday for homes that were scheduled for garbage collection Tuesday.
  • Garbage collection for Wednesday will be collected as normal.
  • Recycling collection remains canceled for Tuesday.
  • The Recycling Center will re-open Wednesday at 9 a.m.
  • The Library will re-open on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
