Ryan Noon stopped a vehicle on Sicomac Avenue that displayed an inspection sticker that expired in 2013. During the traffic stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana in the vehicle. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Adam S. Ashoor of Hawthorne, age 23. Ashoor was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, driving while his license is suspended, possession of narcotics in a motor vehicle, and failure to have his vehicle inspected. Additionally, a computer check located a warrant for his arrest on outstanding traffic violations from Paramus.
