Taylor Swift may sing, "We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January," but Wyckoff has added some rules.

No bags. No decorations. Just leave out the tree, Lee.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Taylor Swift may sing, "We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January" in her song "Lover," but the town of Wyckoff is encouraging you to not leave the tree up too much longer than that.

They say they'll pick up trees left by the curb only through next Monday, Jan. 15. That's also Martin Luther King Day, incidentally.

In addition, they would like you to remove all decorations from the tree first, and not to put it in a bag.
