"Next up?" the fraternal trio said. "New music!
Indeed, amid the pomp and circumstance, Nick Jonas announced the group's new album, titled "The Album," which is set for a May 5 release. A snippet of the new song, "Wings," which is expected to appear on the album, was shared Monday to the Jonas Brothers Instagram page.
Joe Jonas had said in September, via Instagram, that the album was finished, and, in an interview with POPSUGAR that month, promised a "whole new era" for the group's music.
He joked in an Instagram video about what would happen to the star if the Jonas Brothers were to split again (as they did in 2013, reuniting six years later).
"What happens if we break up again?" Joe Jonas said. "Do we split it in three?"
"Too soon, Joe," the videographer said.
