He and his family describe the fear, grief, and anger they feel, and say they’ll only feel fully safe once a suspect is caught, though he still plans to return to campus this spring.

• Santa Fe National Forest Pile Burn Update (ladailypost.com) — Fire crews have completed 50 acres of pile burns north of Santa Fe near Hyde Park Road, with work visible from Ski Santa Fe and more burning planned as snowfall allows. These prescribed fires reduce hazardous fuels to better protect nearby communities and infrastructure. Residents are encouraged to follow the Santa Fe National Forest website, social media, and InciWeb for ongoing updates.
